Download OpenCA

Version is 0.9.3-rc1

The OpenCA PKI Project (v0.9) is a collaborative effort to develop a robust, full-featured and Open Source out-of-the-box Certification Authority implementing the most used protocols with full-strength cryptography world-wide. OpenCA is based on many Open-Source Projects. Among the required software there are OpenLDAP, OpenSSL, Apache Project, Apache mod_ssl.

The project development is divided in two main tasks: studying and refining the security scheme that guarantees the best model to be used in a CA and developing software to easily setup and manage a Certification Authority.

Recently many users have been confused by some misleading information present on another project's website. In particular the OpenXPKI project is just a derivative work of OpenCA. The project and its developers are not related to the OpenCA project anymore. The codebase is completely different from our codebase, especially for the new upcoming release of the OpenCA package (1.0.0). Again, we are not involved in the OpenXPKI project in any way and vice versa.
